Kimber and her husband, Scott Sebold recently renovated a 1938 cottage and studio in the charming historic seaside village of Bayside Maine. She now has plenty of inspiration and conversation with “crooked” little cottages that speak to her painting sensibilities. In addition, the view of the scenic coastline along Penobscot Bay stage stunning sunrises, burning a color palette that inspire her new abstract paintings of sea and sky.
Kimber is well known for her artful abundance which plays through her paintings with color, wit, and whimsey.
Whether it’s a delightful rendition of island living or a lop-sidely whimsical lighthouse all are infused with a sense of optimism and joy.
